Let us learn from the Indegenous Tribal Groups

I had an experience to stay and work among tribals of the Eastern slopes of the Nilgiri Hills, India. The Tribe that I finally chose to work was "IRULAS." For most of the people who experimented with tribal communities, the Irulas tribe ha nothing special to offer. On the contrary, my experience showed that Irula and Kurumba tribes had more to offer to the society than other hill tribes.

The following pages will give you ...

  • My experiences with the tribals
  • Their life syle and habits
  • Their thinking pattern
  • Their belief system
  • Ancient Rock paintings and other heritage art
  • Their economic, political, social and cultural milieu etc.,

Read and get enriched with the ancient and yet the most rudimentary life skills from the tribals.

Hi Chutty,
Waiting to hear more from you about your experiences in the Tribal belt. The life style of the original people of our land would be facinating and mind blogging. Good.
